At the show, Ava Robotics partnered with Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Qatar Airways to feature an Ava Telepresence Robot. This demonstration highlighted the power of telepresence as a communication tool in the newly designed airport.
During the 3 day event a representative from the airport used Ava to ‘walk the show’ and interact with attendees. Human-like mobility combined with high definition video conferencing made it a comfortable and natural companion for show guests, and many attendees were interested to learn more about the second phase of HIA’s Smart Airport technology via the robot.
Hamad International Airport’s Smart Airport technology demonstration with the Ava Telepresence Robot was listed as one of the top-10 interesting technologies to see at the show.
