Keep it easy and familiar for the end users


When deploying your telepresence robot, prioritize a user-friendly and intuitive interface. To encourage adoption and maximize usage, consider your team's preferences for apps or web browsers. Integrate popular collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Webex, or Zoom for seamless scheduling and familiar interfaces. Streamline the login process with Single Sign-On (SSO) for added convenience.

Invest time in user onboarding


This will be new technology for most users, so it's important to make the onboarding process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Live sessions with demos work well, and an inquisitive approach allows the user to explore their use case and share initial ideas of how they will use it. Prepare a few slides with basic information about where and how your robot is implemented, and share these slides with users for them to consult when they start to use the applications on their own.


Ava’s Support team will provide you with onboarding materials that you can use for onboarding sessions with your users. These tools can be easily customized to your particular deployment (integrations, SSO, etc.) If appropriate to your organization, our team also conducts an unlimited number of recurring onboarding sessions or "train-the-trainer" sessions.
